TOTAL Reveals Latest TOTAL EXCELLIUM Gasoline 95 and Its Partnership with Rahhala Racing Team

TOTAL REVEALS LATEST TOTAL EXCELLIUM GASOLINE 95 AND ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH RAHHALA RACING TEAM

Total, one of the world’s leading energy providers, announced the latest updates on its recently launched TOTAL EXCELLIUM Gasoline 95 in Egypt and renewing its partnership with the Rahhala Racing Team.

In February 2018, Total launched TOTAL EXCELLIUM Gasoline 95 in Egypt across 50 stations nationwide. TOTAL EXCELLIUM Gasoline 95, available at the same price of regular Gasoline 95, is a new fuel product that cleans engines, provides lasting protection and ensures better performance, lower fuel consumption and fewer polluting emissions*. It is compatible with all existing gasoline vehicles, including cars, light utility vehicles, two-wheelers and trucks. Commenting on the performance of TOTAL EXCELLIUM Gasoline 95 in the Egyptian market, Mehdi ELGUERCHI, Total Egypt Operations Director, said “The launch of TOTAL EXCELLIUM in Egypt was a resounding success for us. As part of its commitment to work with the best teams in motorsports, Total Egypt renewed for two years its sponsorship agreement with Rahhala Racing Team, covering a wide range of activities.

Rahhala, being Egypt’s leading Egyptian Motorsports Team, won the Gouna Rally Special in 2018 for the 5th consecutive year, and has won a number of major awards over the years, including four Egyptian National Rally Championships in 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2017.

Total’s partnership with the Rahhala Racing Team is set to continue until the end of 2019.

About Rahhala Racing Team

Rahhala Racing is an Egyptian rally team with a strong track record in local and international rallies. It was the first Egyptian team to participate in the internationally renowned Dakar Rally in 2013 and to rank in the International Federation for Motorsports in the World Cross Country Rally Championship in 2009. It achieved second position in the two-wheel drive category in the 2011 World Cup, fifth position in the two-wheel drive in the Spanish Baja 2011, and received World Cup rankings for three consecutive years from 2010 to 2012. Locally, the team won Egyptian national championships from 2009 to 2016, has been taking part in the Pharaons Rally since 2009, and won the Gouna Rally for three consecutive years in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
